Project Description

Set on 1200 acres, the plant was powered by a 25MW steam turbine fueled by bark and natural gas. Scope of work included demolition of all process areas, asset recovery, scrap reclamation and asbestos abatement.

The eight-story recovery boiler and a second boiler were removed, together with a paper machine, lime kiln, caustic plant and two pulp washer lines. Work performed included the tripping of a boiler, precipitator and stack.
