Project Description

This project consisted of the controlled demolition of the condemned prior Empire Hotel in Sharon Springs, NY. Due to heavy rains in the summer of 2019, two-thirds of the hotel collapsed posing eminent danger to the public.

JDS razed the one-third of the building left standing, as well as completed all cleanup and disposal of debris on-site. The foundations were backfilled with imported fill material and all site restoration was completed per contract. All work was done in accordance with all state and federal laws.
